As part of KW Beverage’s and Anheuser-Busch’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, we are excited to share that Anheuser-Busch’s entire portfolio of domestic beer and seltzer brands – including Bud Light, Michelob ULTRA, Busch and Brewers Collective family – is now brewed with 100% renewable electricity from solar and wind power.*
This is an exciting milestone as the Anheuser-Busch Solar Farm in Texas officially comes online this month marking the achievement of their 2025 Sustainability Goal to source 100% of their purchased electricity from renewable sources – four years ahead of schedule.
In celebration of this achievement and World Environment Day, Anheuser-Busch is donating $100,000 to the Green Restaurant Association to pay it forward to our industry and our planet. As part of their Let’s Grab a Beer initiative aimed at playing an active role in the recovery of the country, the donations will go directly towards educational resources to support sustainability in the industry during a time of crucial rebuilding and recovery. You can learn more here.
This announcement is just one example of the brewer’s ambitious sustainability commitments across four key areas within their value chain: renewable electricity and carbon reduction, smart agriculture, water stewardship and circular packaging.
Together, we can help our industry not just return to normal, but come back better and more sustainable. So let’s grab a beer, sustainably, on World Environment Day and pay it forward to build a more sustainable furture.
Cheers!
